I was inspired by many high-resolution textures and decided to create a high-resolution menu screen for Marathon Infinity. It's pretty much an exact scale-up except for the space in the background. I'm not sure if it's strictly a fan art, but I wasn't sure where else to put it.

If anyone's interested in getting the original size (1600px by 1200px), you can download it from My DeviantART Page.

The download includes the following:
- Intro screen (black background with Marathon Infinity logo; 1600px by 1200px)
- Menu screen (1600px by 1200px)
- Menu screen with activated buttons and logo (1600px by 1200px)
- Menu screen without the buttons (probably good for a wallpaper; 1600px by 1200px)
- Menu screen comparison with the original (640px 980px)
- Incoming Message.txt (basically a Readme file)

By the way, is there anyone interested in making a high-resolution Marathon Infinity theme for Aleph One? If you are, I will disassemble the image so it's more suitable for it.

idk if this is considered necroposting, but i looked at this thread, thought it was amazing, and made my own fan-art. it's a creature i made up, because its easier for me to do that than do an already made up creature from memory.

hope you like!

EDIT: whoops, forgot the image. i had to use my camera, then scale it down to 25% (cus its an 8 megapixel pic).

Keep up the good work! I especially like the vine decoration on the staff and how you can see that you really dug the pencil in there when drawing that.

yeah, i figured the hollow-ness and the blackness would create an empty, or void, effect.

Most of the creature nods toward some sort of servo-pfhor but the vine design on the staffs has a nature like feel to it and implies something organic, it contrasts well. Also, props on the picture itself.

alright, i drew this one last night, soon after the first one, but then i decieded not to post it. But now i decided to.

the man's head is too small, and there is something wrong about him.

consequently, that is the best human i've ever drawn. Go figure. [MOh]

EDIT: oops, i forgot to turn it on its side.

The staff should be up and angled to the side as if the pfhor was about to swing when BoB kicked. Also, it would be cool to have BoB blowing it's brains out like it's the mafia era New York.

i was actually going for that the creature was defending himself so teh BoB wouldn't lad on him and he could fling the BoB off, but the BoB already had his pistol ready and was about to blow his brains out.

Haha, interesting. It's better than I can draw, that's for sure! Is that homework underneath your drawing?
