I'm Streaming Marathon 2 Blindfolded on Youtube!

Hi everybody. My name is mrchallah. While I'm new to these forums, I'm a long-time Marathon player. M2 is my favorite game ever!

I've just recently started a grand quest to see if I can beat all of Marathon 2... from start to finish... while blindfolded! I'm going to try and do it twice, once on normal, once on total carnage (of course). For all the Vidmaster Challenges I've done back in the day, this might actually be the toughest!

They funniest part is that there is a Level 1 part 7. I guess that's going about as well as I'd expect.

So it's been a week or so now. I've gotten a LOT better! In the first video, I was like running around blindly punching at the air, lost. By video #8, I'm actually fairly cogently able to navigate corridors, combat enemies, pick up items... and all the while never get lost! It's been a hell of an adventure, so far. Thoroughly enjoying the challenge.

PS: I first got the idea to try this by watching a video by the awesome Australian YouTuber Karl Jobst on blindfolded gaming: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_gAkRAqeDk. I found it pretty inspiring and decided to give it a shot myself...
