I have an awesome idea. If you played Marathon in 1994, erase all your memories of Marathon 2 and infinity or replaying M1 and then crack open Marathon 2 next year. You'll know exactly how long the 17 year intermission between the two events feels

To say the least, having played the game since preschool, it makes me feel quite old.

Hi! There is a small community for Oni, just like for Marathon:Pfheil wrote:I ask because I recognize Konoko, but nobody even likes Oni(well sorta kinda).

I'm giggly terrified for when Marathon turns 18.

I rented oni once for playstation or something. I didn't like it. Now I'm astonished to know it was spawned by the same people who created marathon and PiD. It's like, Bungies version of Heretic II. Yeeuck.

I've read the Playstation version of Oni is unplayable and didn't get good reviews. I recommend trying out the pc of mac version.VikingBoyBilly wrote:I rented oni once for playstation or something. Marathon has been a teenager the last years. And before that, a spoiled brat. What's next? ^^The Thug wrote:I'm giggly terrified for when Marathon turns 18.
It'll be out on its own then...The Thug wrote:I'm giggly terrified for when Marathon turns 18.
Heck, I turn 17 next year.
Perhaps that's because it was created by Bungie West, and not the folks from Chicago? They didn't exactly have Mr. Jones' wise storytelling devices at their immediate disposal.VikingBoyBilly wrote:I rented oni once for playstation or something. I didn't like it. Next year, we shall celebrate Marathon's 18th birthday by making a DOOM/Marathon crossover, because everyone should lose their virginity around 18.

Which leads to question how the martian colonists got Deimos out of hell to hollow it out and ship it off to Tau Ceti.TectonInd wrote:Next year, we shall celebrate Marathon's 18th birthday by making a DOOM/Marathon crossover, because everyone should lose their virginity around 18.
