.pork is a joke...
they decided not to re-enable registering because most people switched over to PlayMyth.net to play any of the Myth series. Plus, they had a server crash a while back and many of the people who helped run marius were moving on, etc.

Registrations wouldn't be required, so you still wouldn't be able to mute them.

Aleph One will have its own local mute some day...
