Marathon: PID Chapter Screens

Thought I'd post my progress on the MPID chapter screens I've been working on for Winter Wolf. He really likes them so far.

I like them, especially the one with Barney in it (He looks like he was taken straight from the game). The first picture is also quite pleasant, especially how you used the leaf template/brush. I will say the gun on the back of the soldier appears to be somewhat wobbly, in that the angles that make up the gun are not straight and metallic. Then again, it isn't really super apparent, and it fits the art style somewhat.

I must note however, that since the bodies have been underground for so long there wouldn't be any blood "flowing" like the pictures depict. This is especially true in the second picture since...you know...its a skeleton, and like, I haven't seen skeletons bleed before.

Also the skeleton through the wall....yeah?

Quite frankly, I didn't expect anyone outside of the team to see these chapter screens before the release. The chapter screen for Malice will make a lot more sense once MaraPiD is released.

Here's the final chapter screen. In the sky on the left, you can see a German soldier, an American soldier, and a Cuban soldier. In the middle is Deceit, and on the right is a Tribesman, Ryu Toth(A Jjaro) and a Zombie.

Would it be at all possible to make it 1280x800? Or even 1280x829 so it doesn't distort. This would be an amazing wallpaper.

they look very well! I think the weakest is the lighting. I'd suggest before you start adding lights/shadows to decide where the main light source is coming from and make every light and shadow according to this.
