Current favorite song
Bearing in mind that I generally don't like things of the rock ilk, I actually found that quite good to listen to.

Alright, I'll add a few song I like:
Aphex Twin - Xtal
Autechre - Piezo
Boards of Canada - Alpha and Omega
Erik Satie - Gnossiene 1
Nick Drake - Pink Moon
Rachmaninoff - Prelude op.23 no. 5
Squarpusher - Beep Street
Gnossienes 1 through 5 by Satie are worth listening to, in my opinion, as well as the Gymnopedies.

Wow. Gnossienes is really good. I'm glad you introduced it because that kind of semi-baroque stuff is wonderful to listen to while studying or concentrating and I've been in need of some better quality stuff like that.$lave wrote:Alright, I'll add a few song I like:

I have been wading in a long river and my feet are wet.

As far as I know, Satie would be more closely related to late romanticism, which you may have been confusing with boroque music. Even then I don't think Satie could really be considered to be romantic, though.Lh wrote:Damnit, was my bleater ignorance showing again?

Here's a really good song by Rapture. Finnish metal band. Not really that heavy though. No death growls, so those of you that can't stand most death metal should be able to tolerate it at least.

Preparation's Kids choir, by none other than P73. Crazy song; electronica with some rap beat influence mixed with absolute insanity.

Weird and very repetitive, although I can't get it out of my head...gmanyo wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMDtZqto9HA
