Ambivalence Avenue (the whole album) by Bibio. Fire Ant is probably my favorite, and also the wierdest, song on the album.

This one is awesome (but skip the first 30 seconds) and so are these two from the same album.

Also, PULP FICTION!!!

And one for Mother's day! Jandek for the win!

I really don't like abrasion, but other than that I agree that it's a good album.

Really? I love that song. I don't particularly like Dwrcan, however.

The Lover's Carvings remix on "The Apple and the Tooth" is pretty good, as well as the original.

Iron Man by Black Sabbath for obvious reasons.

And Band on the Run by the Wings. For some reason, this song reminds me of Marathon, specifically Durandal and the Marine's exploits throughout time and space.

My music tastes are pretty broad and esoteric (pretty much any song that's good IMO I like, no matter what genre it is.) But what the hell, here:

Rock Lobster - The B52's :3

Wichita Skyline - Shawn Colvin I personally prefer the album version, although this concert cover has it's own appeal to it too. (Plus I can't show you the album version because no twit put it on youtube yet.)

Yo, $lave, you should listen to Cosmogramma by Flying Lotus, his newest album. It's fucking great.

Here's the grooveshark link, but the songs are out of order, and I'm not sure it would really work track-by-track:

Thanks, I actually have the album already though :P

For the most part I like the album a lot, but I was really disappointed with the vocals by Thom Yorke and Laura Darlington. From what I've heard almost everyone else thinks the entire album is great, though, so I'll have to give it a few more listens to see if it grows on me more. At the moment I think I still prefer Los Angeles, though.

I've been listening to Deerhunter more lately, so here are the first two tracks on Microcastle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mghs9x7juCc

I must agree with you that the vocals were disappointing, especially Thom Yorke, although I think I like this one better than LA (though I really haven't listened to LA much, so maybe I'm wrong).

EDIT

Hey, did you know that Steven Ellison (FlyLo) is the nephew of Alice Coltrane?

I did not! I'd heard that he was related to some famous musician, but I didn't know it was Alice Coltrane.
