Well it is quite clearly affiliated with Halo, considering it says Halo and Micro$oft Game $tudios at the end. According to a recent comment:
"Master Chief lands on a planet like earth but it's ruled by walking testicles (the floods distant cousins) and u have 2 fight ur way out. Bungie developers told me this the other day, I thought it sounded cool but the testicle thing was a bit far fetched. Hence the 'keep it clean' reference!"

God, the suit reminds me so much of Marathon, except the aliens are different. Heck, one lone scout vs the whole covenant? Sounds somewhat similar to Marathon, (yeah, and Halo, what am I saying?). Oh, and that SMG looked pretty sweet.
Except, I don't have an Xbox 360, and since this is an expansion, it isn't bound to play or look any better than Halo 3, so eh.

Seriously. Check out the VacBob sprite and that game's protagonist; heck, if one of us wanted to show off, we could just recolor the VacBob sprites black and show them at the Bungie.net forums.The aliens remind me of, guess what, the Covenant.
Personally, I think this game will be as lackluster as Halo 3 itself, essentially Halo 2 with different graphics...

mm well, since i am a fan of both game Halo and Marathon are good! really. The aliens are brute, they are the covenant. When i watch the trailer the first thing that came out in my mind is wow! looks similar to marathon! stealthy, dark, lonely with bunch of enemies. Yeah the ODST looks similar with vacbobs only they are black and the visor looks bit different. I think i know why bungie want to make this style of dark and lonely because they wanted to make "new" marathon(i mean "new" is maybe a sequel or something related with marathon sotryline) but, well im gonna give it a try.
