Sharkie Lino: Looks like you had a good day! [MLaugh] The best I've ever done is +16 or +17 while everyone else was in the negatives. I think I died twice during that game. Those noobs!! [MDown]

They say the mind twists and bends in order to deal with the horrors of life...
...Some times the mind bends so much it snaps in two.

All memory of your existence will be wiped from reality, you will die, and none will mourn.

Ha! Sorry. I hate spawn kills. Have you ever experienced the reverse of a spawn kill? I have, once. One time I was backing up down a hallway in Duality and Megabyte spawned right behind me, picked up shotguns, and nailed me right in the back! All in about 1 second.

that was great
Its just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. Then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns and also he got a racecar. Is any of this getting through to you?

I got spawn killed 7 times that game.
I try not to spawn-kill, but sometimes it's hard to tell if you just spawned. Also, if you shoot me with your pistol, you're fair game, period.

For me, a personal milestone is being at least 2nd to last or getting a positive score...because I'm so awful...and laggy...:/

i think the concept is to catch amazing action in the shot, not the aftermath or the implication of.

Here is an unsuspecting man going for life.

Here he is right after he got the life.

I bet he regretted getting that life.

Ok, I'm tired of looking at FAIL. Here's an example of an acceptible screenshot (forgive the low graphics quality - it's from original Marathon Infinity). I found it after 15 minutes of searching, so I know there's better ones around, and I know you can all do better.

Notice that you can see 3 dead bodies flying in the air (Wolfy's has already exploded, so it's kind of hard to make out near the bottom), and that the only way it was possible was that the player whose view I used was also flying midair, having been shot with a rocket himself (notice his lack of health).

You can also see remnants of the rocket blast from Wolfy's suicide.

In summary: moar action. Less FAIL.

Ball wouldnt be so stupid if it didnt slow the player down if he picks up the ball, and if perhaps the holder of the ball were highlighted a bit better... like if they picked up the ball they were tinted entirely white or something and glowed in the dark. Perhaps that might make the strewn skulls all over netmaps meaningful if something like that was stuck in aleph one.

yes it is. the only reason i joined that game was because it was the only one going at the time.
