VRChat, Marathon and 5D space

I've been thinking about how to get a Marathon map into VRChat with Unity.

Maps with normal space will work, but 5D space will need some planning to make the map.

You can import a FBX model of a map using Forge Plus.

The 5D space is separated from the map and the stencil buffer is used to separate the overlapping space visually.

With 5D space the FBX map will have to be made in pieces.

The problem is the effect only works in single player and other player avatars clip through geometry.

I need to mix seamless teleports with the stencil buffer to have multiplayer maps.

Teleport before walking into the stencil portal.

Using Arrival as an example, I can make two maps of it and teleport to the 5D space that is real and hide the fake parts.

The stencil will still be switched on and off, but other players will be on one or the other map.

I don't know how to do the multiple camera and teleport trick.

VR Marathon?

I'll most likely never play it and I would mostly be interested in solo play, but yeah, that's cool. I'll watch your vids later.
