Don't be so passive. If you take an extremely agressive approach with spreading your album, you could probably get some attention. But you have to be really agressive. That is true. The issue is that I am not exactly experienced with promoting myself. I figured this would be at least a start toward...

I used to think that song was good, but now the glamour has fallen away from my eyes. I'd shy away from the glitchy sound and try to execute some simple drum'n'bass first. Do you have any DnB tracks? No but I could quite easily make it. The glitching is engrained into my music. Not always in a lite...

I don't think I'd call anything glitch-heavy light. What did you use to make it? And is that an Atari Punk Console in the album art? Not the sort of song one would bolt up to their feet and dance to, at any rate. You dont yet know of AUX 1 or 2. 1 is very danceable. But, 2 is satan. I did not make ...

We lack a dedicated 2d artist. Taking this position, however, implies dedication. Out of your week, how many days could you set aside two or potentially more hours to conference on development, and then more time still to preform such things as we discuss and plan? It comes out to be an enormous un...

PiD II just denotes that it's the second demo release. Beyond that, there's a lot to do, I know. I've got a better handle of the animation software now, and with any luck, I'll have the headless and the skeleton in their game-accurate forms. Such software, coupled with a player model, will soon res...

I like the PID II idea. Making it a true sequel or full remake would be cool. Of course if that's not your goal then by all means I am not trying to pressure you. But if that's what you are intending to do then please, please, please go for it... As far as the actual demo goes, I like it. The gunpla...

http://archives.4-ch.net/dqn/kareha.pl/1149386526/ the above is the 4-ch really long song thread. essentially, everyone posts a line to the song, and at the end we split it into segments and turn them into musical pieces using text-to-speech, tracking software, etc. I'm interested to see how it wou...

It's open source. There's nothing to be protective of. You can code it in yourself if you want. Most people here likely cannot accomplish that kind of thing. The only reason I was even asking was because it seemed like it would be sensible to have the ability to host matches that do not have auto r...

It got you nowhere? Does that mean you didn't really care about the answer to your question, or that you still don't think you got an answer? No, I know that my opinion likely will not sway anyone to do anything, and in the end, a lot of the things I would like to see odds are cannot or will not be...

It's more like: why do you have to be so defensive? And why do you have to pretend like you didn't try to tell thedoctor45 where his priorities should be, when really you should just be grateful he's doing anything at all in the first place? If you want to make a suggestion, that's fine. Just try t...

I had gratitude for Hopper's answer, but I was curious to see if anyone would desire to do something that nobody cared to do before, and as far as the elitist comment goes, all apologies to keyboarders, I meant no offense to a majority of the group, just to the ones who could be considered rude or c...

It is possible to implement an auto-recenter option without the need for a backwards-incompatible format to be designed and implemented for net games and films. I have written a truly marvelous patch for this, which this reply is too narrow to contain. Are you speaking truth? Please, share with me ...

This kind of question is remarkably frustrating. In a broad sense, you already know, of course it's possible. Other games do it. In a case specific to Aleph One, Hopper already answered it in the very post you replied to and even quoted: It's a wonder anybody bothers to reply to you if this is how ...

The short answer is, there's no room for new options in the format that sends player inputs over the network (and saves them into films). So, each player's recentering preference can't just be tacked on: it would require a new, backwards-incompatible format to be designed and implemented for net ga...

In Aleph One, online matches have an Auto-Recenter feature permanently grafted on. Although it does not bother me to no end, it makes it hard for newer players to get used to the online, where precision on the move can be a godsend. Personally, I would appreciate to at least have the ability to disa...
