Re: Saved Game Editor
You can pretty much do that directly through the Lua console these days. You can define what key to enter the console in Preferences, but by default it's \ . Once in there, enter player.life = n to set your health (150 is a full single bar), player.oxygen = n to set your oxygen, or player.items[&quo...

Re: tycho and the battleroids
Tycho wasn't part of wiping out the colony, he was just there to see it. He didn't turn "evil" until some time after that.

Re: PID A1 Ghasts
This is just a guess, but there are possibly different CLUTs used for the same images if the only difference is coloration.
That isn't necessarily the same thing as being "treated as a rank", like minor/major variations, which is a physics thing rather than a shapes thing.

Pfhorrest, I can't seem to find your version of a chart on the Story page. Got a link? It's at the bottom of http://marathon.bungie.org/story/dream.html, or a direct link at http://marathon.bungie.org/story/_images/Marathon-timeline-diagram-2.png, or embedded below: http://marathon.bungie.org/story...

That's Bungie.org, not Bungie.com. It's a fan site, not Bungie's corporate site.

You could have a weapon with high negative recoil and low rate of fire that acts like a shot of webbing that pulls you toward your target.

The Pfhor at the bottom are cute.

Re: So, about the BoBs...
The Marathon is canonically a generational ships, which suggests that there is some, erm, "generation" going on there. I guess that could involve artificial pod babies, but presumably the women-folk were all safely off hiding in their quarters while the men-folk were out and about working ...

Almost nobody reads these forums anymore. You might try bugging Treellama or someone on the Marathon Discord instead, which you can find here:

Re: Xmas 1-2-3, Winter 1, Narcotics, and a dangling map
Running files with resource forks through MacBinary should make them usable on other operating systems. But also, if you're using a modern Marathon build chain including things like Atque, the files it makes shouldn't have resource forks in the first place, because it merges to the M2-Win95 format w...

Re: Eternal X 1.2
Would we want to modify how Hathor’s message is presented while making it a dream? I don't think that's really necessary. It can just be a dream of Hathor's last message before they left. I get the idea of wanting the fusion cannon to be a big reward, but… hm. The early game just feels a lot more s...

Re: Eternal X 1.2
A few of us went through the latest 1.3 beta again over the past few weeks. Thanks for keeping up work on this while I've been buried in pandemic-induced life problems. Overall, the amount this game has improved since even 1.2 is pretty considerable. The amount it’s improved since 1.1 is borderline...

One might also possibly infer the supposed light sources of an existing map from the lighting of the surfaces: what lights would best approximate the illumination of these surfaces.

Re: Website (For reallier)
I think it's more that this forums is dying, and even if it weren't, your projects aren't really relevant to the community that this forum was meant for. This is just sort of the wrong audience... if there's even any audience still left here.
