Re: Damage Inc. & Prime Target Reversing
The stars recently aligned when a tool called Ghidra was released, which features a decompiler that also targets PowerPC. I've loaded the Mac binary of Damage Inc, which includes debug information, into it and the output looks very clean and doesn't suffer from any of the issues that plagued my ear...

Github is pretty inactive
I made a pull request about a week ago that just did some small cleanup in older code and it hasn't been merged yet. I noticed the last commit was three months ago. I really want to do some cleanup of the old GameWorld code but everyone seems to be MIA.

It's been wonderful seeing these snapshots of Perseus' evolution from a naive bob into a naive bob with hairy knuckles.

A kindergarten speedrun sounds far less entertaining than a TC speedrun.

You have started and not finished other projects in the past. Why would it be any different this time? I seriously suggest you step away; they'll skewer you here.

Re: Damage Inc. & Prime Target Reversing
Much newer version of the hexrays decompiler was leaked. Started using it and I'm pretty impressed with the results. Huge improvement over the version I was originally using. I'm going to move the Damage code from AN1 over to a fresh pull of A1. AN1's monsters.cpp is a bit fucky unfortunately, and I...

Re: Aleph NONE (Request: M2 XBL binary file)
Also, if someone could provide the binary file for the M2 XBLA version that would be pretty helpful. I just want to peek at the assembly for archaelogical purposes.

Re: Aleph NONE
excellent, sometimes all you need is three real life betty BoBs (old M1 mod) to jump around pointing at your PC in order to get back to work. Hope this is what happened ; ) Aww Bob, I think you might be my biggest fan around here. So here's the game plan now: This fork is a bit of a mess. I started...

Re: Durandal '95 crashing
It is not failing in the normal Marathon game code from what I can see. This code is specific to the Windows version I think. Are you sure that the version you're using is okay? Maybe try re-downloading from another source just to eliminate the possibility of corrupted files?

Could you upload the .exe for the copy of M2 you're using? I'm just curious about the cause of the crash.

Re: Aleph NONE
I poked around a little and found a way that at least seven of the fields could be made accessible in the main branch of A1. And with a messy solution more of them could become accessible. [...] The unused seven fields cannot be used to reliably indicate whether or not the monster has its own perso...
