I tried out the beta today and noticed a couple of things:

Glow maps aren't working
The game crashes whenever I shoot monsters and am using WEP in both OpenGL classic and shader

Also, I'd like to point out the landscape smearing that happens when you look up using the HUD script. Not sure if anyone pointed that out (or even has that problem, though I'm assuming they do since you can look higher than you otherwise could).[attachment=2962:smearing.PNG]

I always imagined it not inside the helmet, but on a device strapped to your arm or chest. In the real world, you'd quickly glance down at it, but in the game engine, it would be nauseating to constantly switch the view like that. So, the compromise is to superimpose the relevant part of your suit ...
