Re: WMaiD
This makes me so happy, great to see this is still going. Still up for beta testing, can’t wait for release.

Re: Atque & Physics Editor
Aeon's physics models no longer open up in Shapefusion, I think I posted about that some time ago but haven't found a solution - might the newest version of Shapefusion work?

Shapefusion and Physics
Whenever I open any of Aeon's physics files in Shapefusion, or at least try to, I get an error message. I recall that Shapefusion was capable of editing physics, what's going on?
I can't find the log it's referring to, I'm afraid.

Re: Aeon commentary
So I finally got round to this. I don't think I gave Ryoko enough credit back in the day for doing all of this, it was a titanic effort for a pretty shitty little scenario. I have some spare time now between university and more-university, and after playing through Aeon again on TC I realised how mu...

Some Love for Kindred Spirits
I've been out of the loop for a good few years now, only just yesterday did I finish a playthrough of Phoenix on TC for the first time. It boggles the mind why I didn't bother doing that when I was 15 (I think I may have lied and said I did - that review I did of Phoenix, on reflection, stinks a bit...

Hey man
I'm using 10.13.5 and the latest version of Mono for Mac OS, and when attempting to launch Weland.app I get this.

Re: WMaiD
Great to hear this is still going strong. I'll find my way out of retirement to play this. If you need an extra beta tester, I'd be glad to throw my hat into the ring.

Re: What do people look for in a perfect FIRST level?
The only issue I have is the obnoxious wall of text. Perhaps break it up into a number of seperate terminals, with some form of incentive to go off and read them all, while making the level itself more interesting (not necessarily combat).

Re: What do people look for in a perfect FIRST level?
I tend to not mind exposition levels, especially if they're finessed enough to be interesting even with minimal combat. Good examples of this are Rozinante, Science Stands Alone, Hard Vacuum etc from Rubicon where architecture and exploration are treats in themselves. I'll even defend It Begins With...

Re: What is the DS_STORE
It's hard to believe that about four years ago I was planning to do a sequel to Marathon Rubicon, even had a storyline and a couple of levels fleshed out, but exams got in the way and I forgot about it - probably shouldn't have tried anyway. The storyline ended up detached into a book I'm trying to ...

Re: What is the DS_STORE
I'm just glad some of it was passable. I might come back to it one day, if the community isn't properly dead by then, and fix the smaller issues, but for the time being it'll have to stay as a bug-riddled mixed bag that looks like Phoenix contracted fetal alcohol syndrome.

Re: What is the DS_STORE
Two months sober, actually; buckling up for the final year of university. So, I'm sad to say, those issues in Aeon will likely never be fixed. I'll have a look for Delirium Tremens, it's probably cheaper here in the U.K.

Re: What is the DS_STORE
But as it turns out, he wasn't right. Again. I hope more people can come back to this community if for no other reason than to dunk on Alpha. fridgehorror_7453.png Good luck with that I was going to try and say something coherent, but I don't think anybody would care enough to read it. The gist is,...

Re: WMaiD
Came out of retirement to ask how WMaiD is doing. Had the urge to play through Rubicon again last week, and now I'm stuck playing Marathon again.
WMaiD had such great potential, I just wondered if it's properly dead by now.

It's been a while, but no, I don't believe that switch does anything other than open and close that shutter.
Glad to help.

Now, on another point, you guys have claimed that my project will suck, because, after all, you haven't seen any evidence to suggest otherwise. Er, since when did a lack of evidence prove guilt? I thought it was 'innocent unless proven guilty.' In this case, 'the project is innocent of being horrib...
