Here we are, another equally pointless sequel poll. Post your favorite levels; preferably with the name of the segment/scenario it came from. Post as many or as little as you like; reasons and ordering are optional.

Well then, let's get the ball rolling:

My Favorite Levels

1st: Wading in/Drinking Vitriol; Sucking/Blasting Cherries- Rubicon
2nd: We Met Once in the Garden; Let Sleeping Gods Die- Eternal;- The Tar and Feather Club- Rubicon
3rd: Sonic Firestorm- Gray Incident;- 10001 Nordic Nerds- Rubicon;- We Be Ground Pounders- Evil;- Aye Mak Sicur (etc)- Infinity
4th: For Your Eyes Only- Tempus Irae;- Noises in the Dark- Red;- Pfhorkenstein- Return to Marathon;- Sea of Slime; Honk if you're an Underpaid Cyborg; Molten Dihydrogen Monoxide- Rubicon
5th: Beware of Low-Flying Defense Drones- Marathon;- Revenge is a Bitch- Megiddo;- The Goo, the Bad, and the Ugly- Origin of Species;- Unwired- Eternal
6th: Tears of K'lia- Freedom [MTongue] ;- We're Everywhere- 2;- Purple Heart- Squadron;- Attack of the Wheenies; It's not *my* Brain; Not *this* again- Rubicon
7th: View From the Edge- Evil;- You Can't Go Home Again- WMaiD(d);- Beg, Borrow and Steal; Cow Pushing- Rubicon;- Babylon X- Eternal

Medatron of the Void(RED) is the one that stands out in recent memory.
The early stuff of Rubicon X is also good.
The other RED level that was my favorite was "And Why did I have to do that? ... Sir..."
Mainly because of the funny terminals and the incredibly awesome spaceship bridge.

I've just finished Portal of Sigma (thanks Fileball), and have found a great level- "All these spooky night make me insane". I found it really quite fun, and am adding at to my 7th place row. To be honest, I don't really know what spoke out to me, I just enjoyed it.

However, I have a question to ask that has been brewing for a long time and I wish to ask it: Did RyokoTK have any part in the makings of Portal of Sigma (textures shared between this and Grey Incident) and Apotheosis (weapons shared between this and Grey Incident)? If he did, I wish to congratulate him- those were two little gems.

Again, I wish to congratulate Ryoko for the level Sonic Firestorm, which deservedly reached third place on my level favor charter. Damn good level.

If I remember correctly, some of Sigma's maps were done by Ryoko, and the textures were from Simon, who also gave Ryoko the textures for TGI. I'd guess that the guns were taken from Apotheosis from the orphanage.

Thanks. That had been troubling me for months. So what are your favorite levels?

There's a dramatic story behind how apotheosis weapons ended up in TGI. It involved simon stealing the weapons, and ryoko recieving them as a gift without knowing that simon had stolen them.

No orphanage involved. :P

I liked the weapons from Apotheosis, but since the AO conversion was incomplete I didn't know what they were called. :(
That might have explained why the pistol sounded like a phaser? Or why the SMG had such a huge recoil?
I dunno.

The 3d animation with all those extra frames made them gorgeous though. Was the Apotheosis handgun the same design from Rubicon?

Aye Mak Sicur is my favourite level from the trilogy, outside of that I'm not sure that I have many favourites. I do really like Son of Grendel, Arrival, Begging For Mercy Makes Me Angry and Fatum Iustum Stultorum, though.

That's why I put Aye Mak Sicur in my third place row. It certainly deserves it.

Does anyone have any favorites outside of the trilogy? Thanks.

My favorite levels are probably both the classic and the X "Not *this* again" from Rubicon, and also Hex Level 73.

I also liked rampaging as an organic in the last levels of RED, that was cool.

And if we're talking about any Marathion scenario ever, then my favorites are also every single level in Prime Target except for that tunnel one with the ninjas and the one with the hedge maze.

Not to necro or anything, but I just now decided I would play TGI, and I have one level to contribute. My new, all time favorite level (that I have played) is Desert of Set.

My favorite TGI level, which comes behind only the best of Rubicon, is Sonic Firestorm. Bloody good job, Ryoko.

Well, I've only played the first three levels, so I don't know what sonic firestorm is like. [MErr]

I actually have time now that all we do in class is study for semester tests in this last week of the semester.
