I REALLY wish that I could draw like you did...

You can soon, but not yet. Drawing is like any other skill - you pratice and get rewarded with more ability. Each time I draw something I learn something. I think it's the same for everyone. We start out lousy and end up powerful.
I mean, when I was a kid, my teacher was worried because my drawing skills sucked so much. Hah.
Practice is the name of the game for all things in life.
I want to get really good at drawing. I've just begun.

His physique isn't V-shaped though.

well, have you seen road bikers? (tour de france?) they realy aint nowhere V shaped. Most of them are ither tall and skinny, but they all have leg muscles of telephone polls.
not being V shaped does not mean that you are instantly fat

Great work! Anyone else notice he's using Craig Mullins-y techniques?
goran

oh here I am. Craig mullins technique? maybe. Sure I've looked at his art a lot,
so it's not impossible that I was inspired when I did this fighter. But nothing
intentional.

My opinion: Would be great without his carrying the head. These characters never struck me as having the kind of personality that was brave beyond carrying their sticks around. Take the stick away and they run away.
Maybe have the body laying nearby. As for the Mullins comment, I'm very familiar with his work and I don't see it. If anything it reminds me of Marathon 1, the first level. More please.
